Our Ram Flock

A flock is really only as good as its rams. One ram can service between fifty and one hundred ewes, but because we keep multiple breeding groups of each breed and provide breeding rams for other farms, we generally keep what most people would consider to be way too many rams.

These boys have gone through a rigorous selection process. Choosing a ram is, in our opinion, a more critical decision than choosing a ewe. Any one ram will breed multiple ewes in any one year – and will likely continue to breed for several years. His genetics will be found in numerous lambs over those years (many more than most ewes), and must therefore be carefully considered and thoroughly tested. This page lists the rams currently in our ram flock. Some will be for sale this spring while others will remain to continue to help us reach our breeding goals.

Korbin (DOB 2011) - silvery gray Romney purchased from Grace Valley Farms, MT, will work for our flock in 2017

Qayin (DOB 2017) – dark colored Romney son of Heavenly (PHF ewe) to be used in Fall 2018
